Dress up in your favourite costume for a real Halloween party, the Irish dance way! Upbeat modern fiddle tunes, a caller, and a few popular covers will make this a special treat for the whole family!
Céilí (Irish spelling and pronounced kay’lee) is dancing to music that is usually played by a live band, with a partner, guided by a caller. No matter what your level of dancing is, everyone has a great time. |
Why Irish Céilí?
Halloween has a lot of connections to historical Irish culture. Samhain (pronounced Sah-win) is a Gaelic word and the origin of Halloween. It was celebrated by Celtic pagans for the end of the harvest season and beginning of the winter season. We are a fusion band and love connecting the old with the new, so come join us for a great evening!
